21-October-2025
IMP Group is proud to announce that Patrick O'Brien, Director of Flight Operations, for Execaire Aviation, has been recognized by the National Business Aviation Association (NBAA) and Young Professionals in Business Aviation (YoPro) as one of the 2025 Business Aviation Top 40 Under 40 in the category of Business Management. This prestigious honor celebrates the next generation of innovative leaders making an impact in business aviation, and Patrick’s dedication, expertise, and leadership make him truly deserving of this recognition.
Patrick earned his glider pilot’s license at age 17 through the Royal Canadian Air Cadets, and he’s been immersed in aviation ever since. He entered business aviation as an intern at Execaire while studying for his MBA, where he focused on fuel procurement and mergers and acquisitions. Patrick went on to work as a project manager before flying the Beechcraft 1900D in Africa. Over the years, he piloted the Learjet 60, Cessna Citation X, and Bombardier Challenger 605, while also managing Execaire’s Operations Control Center.
“Leadership has always empowered me to drive change,” said Patrick. “Over the past 12 years, we’ve completely restructured our flight operations group with a strong focus on enhancing client value through innovation and service – advancing automated risk identification, increasing efficiency through digital integrations, and reducing the administrative burden on our flight crews. We also launched sustainability initiatives tied to CORSIA, identifying opportunities for fuel efficiency and advancing efforts to make our operations more sustainable.”
Congratulations, Patrick. Your leadership, dedication, and passion for excellence continue to inspire the entire Execaire Aviation team.
